Migration guide
Switch from Octo Browser to BeastBrowser
An honest guide to moving: what it costs, how to do it step by step, and what changes — including where Octo Browser is stronger.
What switching costs
BeastBrowser Monthly Premium is $30/mo flat — unlimited local profiles, no per-profile tiers. Yearly Premium is $199/yr (saves $161 vs 12 months at $30). There is no migration fee. The real cost of switching is your time: profiles do not transfer automatically, so budget time to recreate them and reattach your proxies.
Cost-at-scale math
Octo Browser's Team plan (350 profiles) is €169/mo; Advanced (1,200 profiles) is €329/mo (monthly billing, from octobrowser.net/pricing/, checked Oct 24, 2026). Octo prices are shown excluding VAT on its pricing page. BeastBrowser is $30/mo flat at any scale. Octo prices are in euros and BeastBrowser's price is in US dollars, so the savings below are nominal differences between the headline prices, not a currency-converted total:
- 300 profiles: Octo Team (350 profiles) €169/mo vs BeastBrowser $30/mo — saves €139/mo (€1,668/yr) on the headline figures.
- 1,000 profiles: Octo Advanced (1,200 profiles) €329/mo vs BeastBrowser $30/mo — saves €299/mo (€3,588/yr) on the headline figures.
Step-by-step move
- Export your proxy list from Octo Browser. Save every proxy (host, port, username, password, type) you use across profiles.
- Sign up free and install BeastBrowser (Windows or Mac Apple Silicon) from the download page. The free plan allows 5 local profiles/day on 1 PC.
- Recreate profiles one by one, attaching the same proxies you exported. Keep names consistent so your workflows still make sense.
- Rebuild automations. Octo Browser automations and API routines will not transfer — recreate them with BeastBrowser's RPA recorder and Local API.
- Run both side by side for a few days to confirm logins, cookies, and proxies behave before you cancel Octo Browser.
What you gain
- Flat $30/mo for unlimited local profiles — no tier jumps as you grow.
- Local-first storage: profiles live on your PC, not on someone else's cloud.
- RPA recorder, synchronizer, and an in-app proxy store included.
What you lose — honestly
- Cloud sync. Octo Browser is built for teams with shared profiles; BeastBrowser stores profiles locally on one PC per account. If your workflow depends on opening the same profiles from multiple devices or sharing them with a team in real time, that is a real gap — plan for it before moving.
- Team sharing built in. Octo Browser's team features are native; BeastBrowser is one account = one PC.
